Mr. Hackett works with clients who are in, or approaching retirement. As an independent Investment Adviser Representative, he works for himself and his clients; not a Wall Street firm, insurance company, or financial institution. Mr. Hackett also works with companies on their 401k plans.

 

An active member of his community, Charles is on the board of the Council on Aging. He has been recognized by the Massachusetts House of Representatives and U. S. Congress for his community service to local retirees. 

 

In 2003, he started a fundraising golf tournament for his local senior center. “Senior Scramble,” now in its seventh year, has raised nearly $100,000 for programs and services to benefit local retirees and their families. He hosts a weekly radio show on WNBP, AM 1450, focusing on retirement planning issues.  The show is heard every Saturday morning at 8am.

 

A golf fanatic, former pilot, food lover, and world traveler; Charles lives locally with his wife, daughter and son.
