The WNBP “Top O’ The Morning Irish Show”. The show airs every Sunday from 10am to 12pm, hosted by Mary Carrier. Two hours of Irish music, great stories, dedications and requests. It’s been on WNBP for over 20 years!

Mary Carrier

Mary Carrier is a transplant from New York City where she was born and raised by Irish born parents. Spending her childhood summers in Ireland, she was exposed to the culture, dance, and traditional music at an early age. She graduated from Fordham University and pursued a career as an English teacher. Her husband’s job moved them to Newburyport 30 years ago and, when the company left, they chose to stay and raise their two daughters here. Later, Mary entered Newburyport politics serving on the City Council and then as Mayor. She has had many careers but the Irish Show has been a mainstay in her life having hosted “Top O’ the Morning Show for over twenty years.
